$3,600 Child Tax Credit Latest News

$3,600 CTC is provided annually for the basic expenses of eligible single households and married families; the provided CTC is $7,200. The monthly CTC provided is $300. As per the reports, Congress expanded the CTC temporarily as a part of the Covid-19 aid package. However, in 2022, CTC returned to its pre-pandemic rate as the government did not expand it in 2022.
