Here is the list of eligibility criteria that you must meet to enroll in the GST Payout.

  • The claimant must be a Singapore citizen and must reside in the country to receive the voucher.
  • Individuals 21 years of age or older can claim the GST Voucher.
  • A person must be the owner of only one property to enroll in the scheme.
  • Those with an annual income of $34,000 and the Home AV must not surpass $21000.

Only if you qualify for the above-shared eligibility will you be allowed to claim the amount. If not, you need to apply by visiting the Gov Benefits portal.

All We Know

Now, you must be wondering how you will get your GST voucher. Individuals can redeem the GSTV or get a direct bank transfer. The payment modes included in the GSTV distribution are as follows:

  • If you have linked your PayNow account with the NRIC, the participants will be receiving the voucher on 1 August 2024.
  • While filling out the form, if you have shared your bank details, your GSTV cash will be credited on 11 August 2024.
  • Lastly, those with a GovCash account will receive the GSTV by 21 August 2024, except for claimants who have provided the bank information or connected the PayNow to their NRIC account.

Citizens who made a claim before the deadline, set to 30 April 2024, will receive the GSTV depending on the mode they opted for. The most notable change in 2024 is the inhalation in the voucher. Previously eligible were receiving an amount of $350 to $700, whereas in 2024, they can earn from $450 to $850.
